Volleyball Wins Season Opener; Make Program History

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions opened their season on Wednesday night in thrilling fashion defeating GSAC opponent and 2016 Region XIX Semifinalist Ocean County College in four sets. Bucks volleyball has never defeated a GSAC opponent since joining the NJCAA in 2012. The Lady Centurions came out firing on all cylinders winning set one 25-19. The Vikings would battle back to capture set two winning 25-20. Bucks would answer in the third set winning 25-19. The fourth set was a tough battle as Ocean fought to force a deciding fifth set but the Lady Centurions proved too resilient and tied things up before going on to win the set 27-25. 

Ocean falls to 0-1 overall. 

Bucks improves to 1-0 overall. 

The Lady Centurions travel next to Raritan Valley Community College to face the Golden Lions at 6:00 pm on Thursday August 31st.
