NEWTOWN, Pa. – After losing the first set, the Lady Centurions rallied to defeat Luzerne County Community College on Thursday evening in the opening match of the season 3-1.
Bucks was led by the Bensalem duo of Angi Paniagua with 12 kills, 5 digs, 3 aces and Jessica Ferdinand with 11 kills and 5 aces. "This was a team effort, everyone contributed to this win." said 5th year Head Coach, Stephanie Recklau, "We have come together in such a short time."
The win gives the Lady Centurions a record of 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the EPAC while Luzerne drops to 0-1 in conference.
Bucks returns to action action on Tuesday, September 8th when they travel to face Bergen County College at 7PM.
