Women’s Soccer Set 2025 Preseason Dates

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Head women's Soccer Coach, Stephen Thompson has announced the Centurions will open their 2025 campaign with preseason starting the week of August 11th. The captains will also hold captions practices throughout the summer on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm starting on July 16th and continuing until preseason. Captains' practices are open to all incoming, current and alumni players (bring a water bottle).

PRESEASON SESSIONS will begin on Monday, August 11th. The seasons will all be held Monday through Friday starting at 4:30PM at the soccer field on the Newtown Campus (park at the bottom of Lot "S1"). Preseason will run August 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th.

The Bucks women's soccer program is looking to win the Eastern States Athletic Conference title in head coach, Stephen Thompson's third season in charge, and make thier first conference championship since 2017. The team will be have a lot of new faces this season. "We returned a few top players from last season," stated Coach Thompson, "and we add in the group of incoming freshmen, we should have a good team to watch." The women's soccer team has produced student-athletes have gone on to continue their playing careers as high as the NCAA, Division 1 level.

All potential student-athletes are asked to bring a water bottle (water will be provided), running shoes, soccer cleats and a physical. The eligibility paperwork will distributed at tryouts or can be found online. Physical forms can be found at: Athletic Physical Form

• Athletic Orientation: TBD (virtual)
• Preseason Sessions: Monday-Friday, August 11th-14th (4:30PM)
• Normal practice: Monday, August 18th (4:30PM)
• First day of class: Wednesday, August 20th
• Preseason Game: Saturday, August 23rd (TBD)
• First Game: Saturday, September 13th, (1PM) away vs Christendom College
