Lady Centurions Struggle Against Monroe Community College.
Centurions ready to regroup.
Monagan Court, NY: The Lady Centurions did not have a lot of answers to counter a very tough offensive opponent in Monroe Community College. MCC took a commanding leade and the result was a 93-32 final over the Centurions.
From the outset, Monroe Community College established their dominance, outscoring Bucks County 25-9 in the first quarter, which set the tone for the rest of the games.
Monroe's offensive strategy was spearheaded by Serenity Henderson, who delivered an impressive performance with 25 points, including three three-pointers. She also contributed defensively with four steals and four blocks. Skylah Kemp was another standout for Monroe, securing a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Shania Estrich provided a strong presence off the bench, adding 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Bucks County struggled to find their rhythm on the court. Abigail Huskin led her team with 8 points and 9 rebounds, but the team as a whole faced difficulties, shooting only 20% from the field and 7.7% from beyond the arc. Their efforts were hampered by a high turnover rate.
Monroe's defense was relentless, forcing BCCC into difficult shots and capitalizing on their mistakes. The home team demonstrated superior ball movement and teamwork, evidenced by their 24 assists compared to Bucks County's 8. MCC improve their season record to 6-4, while BCCC fell to 2-2.
