CENTURIONS MEN'S SOCCER
The men's soccer program has had great success and a long tradition of excellence both on and off the field since its inception in 1968. On the field, they have multiple conferences championships, all-conference players, all-region players, academic all-americans. During their time in the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference starting in 2012, the men's soccer team has never finished lower then second. They have had multiple players recruited and have played at all NCAA divisions, NAIA and even the professional ranks. The team is regularly does community service and volunteer work to produce well rounded individuals. A THIRD SEASON OF ELIGIBILITY NOW MAY BE PLAYED AT BUCKS. 2021 will mark the first season as an independent in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
From the Coach
Our soccer program strives to help develop young men while completing on a high level. We regularly do community service for well rounded individuals, have a large active alumni group and our entire team (women's teams included) is part of the ever growing soccer family. I believe we are there to set an example through integrity, respect and hardwork.
Eligibility consists of the potential student-athlete having 1.) a valid physical (within the last 12 months), 2.) health insurance coverage (short term is available), 3.) being a full-time student (12 credits) during semester the season is played and 4.) your grades at Bucks and any other college analyzed by the athletic department (GPA varies on situations).
Mandatory orientation will be held in the Linksz Pavilion or may be participated on a Zoom call for the Fall 2021. Make sure you complete the student-athlete checklist and have your Eligibility Packet. An up to date physical is required before trying out.
Preseason/Tryouts will be held starting in August 2021 (anticipated start date will be August 9th) with double sessions starting at 10AM and 4PM. Specific tryout dates will be determined.
Practices-during the week are at 3:30PM (daily)
Games-NORMALLY are on Tuesdays, Thursdays (at 3:30PM) and Saturdays (at 12:00PM)
* Do not schedule classes ending after 3:15PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and 1PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays.
The team will have a limited spring schedule with some training, lifting and have a few scrimmages. Anyone interested in the team and offseason workouts may contact Coach Burroughs for the training schedule and requirements.
