NEWTOWN, Pa. – Head Men's Soccer Coach, Justin Burroughs has announced the Centurions will open their 2026 campaign with preseason tryouts starting the week of August 10th. The captains will also hold captions practices throughout the summer on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm. Captains' practices are open to all incoming, current and alumni players (bring a water bottle).
PRESEASON TRYOUTS will begin on Monday, August 10th. Tryouts will all be double sessions held Monday through Friday starting at 10:00AM and the second session starting at 4:00PM at the soccer field on the Newtown Campus (park at the bottom of Lot "S1"). Preseason will run August 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th.
The Bucks men's soccer program is looking to win the Eastern States Athletic Conference championship for the third time. The team will bring back a number of players from last year team and the incoming class has the potential to be one of the best groups in years. "We should have a very deep team this season, we're going to have many positions up for grabs this year," stated Coach Burroughs, "we have a heavy schedule and it should be an amazing season." Men's soccer was one game away from the conference championship last season.
All potential student-athletes are asked to bring a water bottle (water will be provided), running shoes, soccer cleats and a physical. The eligibility paperwork will distributed at tryouts or can be found online. Physical forms can be found at: Athletic Physical Form

- Athletic Orientation: TBD (virtual)
- Preseason Tryouts: Monday-Friday, August 10th-14th (double sessions 10AM & 4PM)
- Normal practice: Monday, August 17th (4:00PM)
- First day of class: Wednesday, August 26th
- Alumni Game: Saturday, August 22nd, (11AM)
- First Game: Monday, August 24th (4PM) away, at Patrick Henry College
