Men's Soccer Battle for Road Win at Williamson

Media, Pa. - The Bucks men's soccer team had a hard fought win over ESAC conference foe, Williamson College of the Trades by score of 1-0 on Thursday evening at Mechanics turf stadium.
Bucks was on the offensive from the start of contest and pushed forward for the majority of the match but we unable to find the back of the net. The Centurions managed 15 shots on goal compared to Williamson's 6. Both teams had excite chances throughout the game as it remained deadlocked until first year, Myroslav Lepuha, in 87th minute of the game followed his own shot for the game winner. Bucks goalkeeper, Leonel Chanez (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) had 6 saves for the day and recorded the teams first shutout of the season. The back line of Josh Garrison (Newtown, PA), Kane McDermott (Magnolia, DE/Caesar Rodney) Daniel Fernandez (Trenton, NJ/Foundation Academy), Gavin Eckenrode (Feasterville, PA/Neshaminy) had spectacular play to contribute to the shutout victory.
"I'm very proud of the guys today" commented Head Coach Justin Burroughs, "we kept our composure and stayed focus for the entire 90 minutes."
The win improves Bucks to 3-3-0 overall and 2-1 in the ESAC, while Williamson drops to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the ESAC.
The Centurions are back in action on Saturday, September 20th when they host Lackawanna College, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00pm.
