Central Penn leaned on efficiency inside and a dominant performance on the glass to outlast Bucks County Community College, 90–83, on Saturday afternoon at Bucks' campus.
After taking a 37–31 lead into halftime, Central Penn matched Bucks point-for-point in a high-scoring second half (53–52) to seal the seven-point win. The difference came from shot quality and second-chance opportunities: Central Penn shot 50.7% (34-for-67) from the field and won the rebounding battle 50–42, including 15 offensive boards that repeatedly extended possessions.
Keon Blanding-Docken powered the Central Penn offense with a game-high 29 points on an ultra-efficient 14-for-19 shooting in 40 minutes. Cameron Wilson controlled the paint with a 20-point, 20-rebound double-double (9 offensive rebounds, 6 blocks), giving Central Penn a steady interior advantage on both ends. Khalil Dukes added 18 points and filled the stat sheet with 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, while Bersy Moundzieho contributed 14 points and 4 assists.
Bucks County struggled to score inside the arc, finishing just 24-for-85 overall (28.2%), but stayed within striking distance by bombing away from three. The home team hit 12 threes on 47 attempts (25.5%) and got a huge lift from Jayden Bright off the bench, who poured in 22 points and went 6-for-11 from deep. Mike Roccograndi added 15 points (3 threes) and 5 assists, while Morris Ivery (14 points) and Anthony Washington (14 points, 6 assists, 4 steals) helped keep the pressure on.
Free throws were a major storyline for both teams. Central Penn got to the line often (38 attempts) but left points behind by shooting 57.9%. Bucks County was better at the stripe (67.6%) and nearly matched Central Penn in makes (23), but couldn't overcome the cold shooting night and Central Penn's edge in rebounds and rim protection.
Central Penn's ability to finish possessions—through offensive rebounding and Wilson's shot-blocking presence—proved decisive in a game where Bucks County generated volume (85 shots) but couldn't convert at a high enough rate to complete the comeback.
