NEWTOWN, Pa. – Bucks Basketball set its sophomore out with a thrilling win over Ocean County College by a score of 85-84 on Saturday afternoon.
After a slow start, the emotions of the the sophomores last game gave the home team much needed momentum. Sophomore all chipped in on the victory with forward Keith Howard (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) dropping 19 points, guards Patrick McCauley (Southampton, PA/William Tennent) and Eric Flynn (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan Catholic) hitting critical 3 point shots throughout the game. With 12 seconds remaining, Bucks up 83-81 and inbounding the ball under their own basketball, Ocean is in a full court press. It is fitting that the ball ends up in the hands of Howard who puts the game out of reach with an emphatic slam bringing the crowd to its feet.
Bucks finishes the season with a record of 10-12 overall.
Ocean drops to a 12-14 overall record.
