Coach Edward Conrey is in his first season as the Centurions Assistant Coach. In 1998, he led the ACC in HR's (16), RBI's (76), walks (46) earning First-Team All-ACC and Honorable Mention All-American Honors. In 1999 he was Duke University's MVP, and the ACC's Offensive Player of the Year. Coach Conrey got his coaching start at the University of North Florida, alongside "Dusty" Rhodes while studying to receive his Master's Degree in Educational and Instructional Leadership. Together they led the UNF Ospreys to 3 Peach Belt Conference Championships and eventually a World Series berth in 2005. He was in charge on field-maintenance, recruiting, academic compliance, while also serving as the team's hitting instructor and infield coach. The Ospreys were one of the best baseball teams in the country during the time Coach Conrey was there, winning over 133 games within a 3 year period.
Coach Conrey sits on the Board of Directors Homer For Hope Foundation, a charitable baseball organization that raises money for local families that have fallen on hard time, that are in need of community support. Through the foundation, working with various scouts in MLB, and coaching the Homers For Hope Baseball team, Coach Conrey has seen over 12 of his players play or currently still play professional baseball.
He is excited to bring his vast knowledge and experience to the Bucks County Community College Athletic program.
