Bucks County Community College Come Up Short Against Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions In Game 2

Bucks County Community College could not keep pace with Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions 7-5 on Wednesday.

Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions got on the board in the top of the first inning after Owen Zimmerman singled down the right field line, and Brenan Adams doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Evan Urglavitch homered to right field, which helped Bucks County Community College tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.

In the top of the fourth inning, Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions went back into the lead after Brandon Pupek tripled to left field, Yostin Guerrero hit a sacrifice fly, and Conner Licklider singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Tj Dunn pitched three innings in relief for Bucks County Community College. The reliever gave up six hits and five runs (three earned) while, striking out none and walking two. Isaac Galarza started the game for Bucks County Community College. The starter surrendered two hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Dylan Siwik opened the game for Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions. The right-handed pitcher gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking four.

Austin Frank provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bucks County Community College with two runs batted in. Jayden Nezaj and Urglavitch each collected two hits for Bucks County Community College. Sami Nezaj led Bucks County Community College with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Nezaj stole two bases. Bucks County Community College stole three bases in the game.

Zimmerman provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Adams went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Penn State Schuylkill Nittany Lions in hits.
