Women's Volleyball Blanks Cougars; Goes Distance with Mustangs

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa.- The Lady Centurions battled tough Saturday afternoon sweeping Lehigh Carbon in their first match (25-20, 25-22, 25-18) and then going all 5 sets with Montgomery County (25-13, 13-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13) again for the second time this season. Freshman Dana Miller (Furlong, PA/Central Bucks West) recorded 25 kills with a 0.523% hitting percentage, April Neeld (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) had 33 kills with a 0.458% hitting percentage, 8 digs and 6 blocks, Krista Hiller (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) added 22 kills and 24 digs, Amie Rickert (Langhorne, PA/Pennsbury) had 77 assists and 13 digs and Jennifer Martyn (Chalfont, PA/Central Bucks West) scored 23 digs. 

Lehigh Carbon falls to 6-8 overall. 

Montgomery improves to 15-0 overall. 

Bucks improves to 12-3 overall.  

Up next the Lady Centurions host Community College of Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 10th at 6:00 pm for Sophomore Night.
