Women's Volleyball Grounds Hawks

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions defeated Harrisburg Area Community College in four sets Tuesday night. After faltering in the first set Bucks would go on to take the next three in dominating fashion. Sophomore Amie Rickert (Langhorne, PA/Pennsbury) would contribute 33 assists on the evening as Jennifer Martyn (Chalfont, PA/Central Bucks West) would add 11 digs. Dana Miller (Furlong, PA/Central Bucks West) finished with an impressive 9 kills of her own. Fellow freshman Krista Hiller (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) had 8 kills, 5 service aces and 11 digs and April Neeld (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) had a spectacular night recording 14 kills, 5 service aces and 8 digs. Bucks would drop the first set 22-25 before winning sets two, three and four 26-24, 25-11 and 25-16 respectively. 

Harrisburg drops to 7-5 overall. 

Bucks improves to 10-2 overall. 

Up next the Lady Centurions travel to the Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday, September 28th for a 6:00 pm match.
