Volleyball Sweeps Lackawanna

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions Volleyball team hosted the Falcons from Lackawanna College Saturday afternoon. Bucks came ready as they took an early lead on the Falcons and never looked back in the first set winning 25-19. The second set was more of the same with Bucks securing the win and forcing set three into a win or go home for Lackawanna, the score 25-13. The final set was also handled by the Lady Centurions 25-11 completing the sweep. Breana Jackson continued to be the catalyst for Bucks' success compiling 8 kills, 14 aces and 4 digs. Jackson has now surpassed three record holders at Bucks, Sarah Alu with most kills at 95, Courtney Hess with most solo blocks at 27 and Alison Wilson with most service aces at 36 all single season records. 

Lackawanna drops to 1-10 overall and 1-9 in the conference. 

Bucks improves to 7-7 overall and 5-5 in the conference. 

Next the Lady Centurions host Lehigh Carbon Community College for Sophomore Night on Tuesday October 4th at 7:00 pm in the Centurion Gymnasium.
