Volleyball Defeated by Montgomery

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Women's Volleyball team suffered it's first loss of the season Thursday. Montgomery County Community College proved to be too much to handle for the Lady Centurions who were swept in three sets (25-7, 25-12, 25-13). Despite the great effort put forth by Angie Paniagua with 6 kills, Sydne Patchell with 7 digs and Breana Jackson's 3 service aces and a .429 hitting average they just couldn't seem to stop the Lady Mustangs. "This was a tough game that taught us a lot about our strengths and weaknesses. I look forward to getting the team back on the court this weekend." stated Coach Recklau.

The Mustangs improve to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in region and conference play.

Bucks falls to 1-1 overall.

The Lady Centurions return to action on Saturday September 10th as they travel to Lackawanna College for a tri-match with the Lady Falcons and the Lady Hawks from Harrisburg Area Community College. Match time between Lackawanna and Harrisburg is set for 11:00 am as Bucks will then play Harrisburg at 1:00 pm and Lackawanna at 3:00 pm.
