NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions fell to Delaware Technical Community College on Thursday night 21-67. Sophomore Macy Moors (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) lead the team with 9 points as Lavender Nambo (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) added 8 of her own in the effort.
The bigger story of the night was the team honoring it's three sophomores which include Moors, Nambo and Morgan Montgomery (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) all of whom graduated from Pennsbury and live in Yardley. The three of them have been a big part of the program's rebuilding the last two seasons after a year before they arrived saw Bucks cancel it's Women's program due to lack of participation. "I don't know if they realize it but all three of these ladies have been an integral part in re-establishing Women's Basketball at Bucks, no matter how many or few wins they achieved their success should be measured in their dedication and integrity to ensure this program survives now and into the future and they should be very proud of that." said Brandon Kinsey, Athletics Staff.
Delaware Tech improves to 8-14 overall.
Bucks falls to 2-16 overall.
Up next the Lady Centurions travel to Northampton Community College for their penultimate season finale on Saturday, February 10th at 12:00 pm.
