PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Lady Centurions traveled to Community College of Philadelphia on Tuesday night. In a re-match from their November 22nd battle the story this time around would be much different. Bucks simply put is a much better team then they were back then. The reason being they have been able to fully gel and get to know one another, back in November they had just begun practicing twelve days earlier. The stats speak for themselves as Lavender Nambo accomplished her first and the team's first double-double of the season securing 18 rebounds and scoring 17 points. Macy Moors lead the team in scoring racking up a personal best 21 points. Vanessa Rich added 15 rebounds, Morgan Montgomery totaled 5 rebounds and 4 assists, Shannon Dormer contributed 2 rebounds and 2 points. Brooklynn Smith would use her speed to get Bucks on a roll stealing the ball on a breakaway into a successful layup. Smith would total 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 points. Final score Bucks 52, CCP 26.
The Colonials fall to 0-11 overall.
The Lady Centurions rise to 3-11 overall.
Bucks returns to action on Thursday, January 19th when they host Valley Forge Military College at 5:00 pm in the Centurion Gymnasium.
