Women's Basketball Secures Win

NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Lady Centurions hosted the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College on Tuesday night. In a tight battle both teams tussled for who would be able to pull away enough to earn the victory. A game mostly separated by a couple points throughout the contest would be won by some late heroics of the Lady Centurions. Macy Moors lead the team with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Morgan Montgomery contributed with 8 points of her own as Forward Vanessa Rich added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Lavender Nambo secured 6 rebounds as Brooklynn Smith had 2 crucial steals and a basket of her own. Shannon Dormer played great defense forcing Delaware to take outside shots allowing her teammates to grab the rebounds. Overall a great team effort, the win comes as Fredrick Hilliard's first as Interim Head Coach and the team's second this season.

Delaware falls to 0-7 overall.

Bucks improves to 2-7 overall.

Next the Lady Centurions travel to Manor College on Thursday December 15th for a 5:00 pm tip-off.
