HARRISBURG, PA. – Bucks fought through the rain to top Harrisburg Area Community College 10-0 Saturday afternoon.
With rain coming down, it took just 4 minutes for Bucks to score as defender, Mark Jurewicz (Council Rock South) dribbled by 2 players on the outside and slid the ball past the Harrisburg goalkeeper. Reynaldo Bonilla (Neshaminy) scored the game's second goal unassisted just 6 minutes later. Tri-Captain, Sean Wittemann (Council Rock South) put away a pass from Furkan Celik and Nursultan Tolepbergen (George Washington) also scored from an assist from Edson Ordonez-Pena to end the first half to give Bucks a 4-0 lead. After the break, Bucks added 6 more goals. Nikolai Tsekirov (George Washington) and Josiah Gibboni (Calvary Christian Academy) combined for the shutout in goal.
With the win, Bucks improves to 4-0-0 in the EPAC, 4-0-1 in Region XIX and 5-1-1 overall. The Centurions return to action on Tuesday, September 15th when they travel to play undefeated, Northampton Community College Spartans at 3:30PM in Bethlehem, PA.
