NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Men's Basketball team bounced back after their OT loss with a convincing win over Lehigh Carbon Community College on January 30th, 75-65.
Bucks would carry a 13 point lead into halftime. The team was lead in scoring by sophomore guard Somah Slewion (Philadelphia, PA/ Swenson Arts) with 19 points.
Lehigh would continue to battle back in the second half but the Centurions had critical defensive stops during their run. Bucks would hold their opponents to only 4 three pointers for the game and force 15 turnovers. Second year head coach Dominic Farrello stated, "We really picked up the intensity the last few games on both offense and defense. We are sharing the ball and playing great team basketball." In addition to Slewion, three more Centurions would score double digit points; Adjewoda Sanoumega (Philadelphia, PA/ Creative & Performing) with 11, Nathan Johnston (New Britain, PA/ Central Bucks South) with 15 and Ronald Garrison (Bristol, PA/ Bristol High) with 12.
Lehigh falls to 5-11 overall, 4-12 in the region and 3-10 in the conference.
Bucks improves to 9-11 overall, 7-10 in the region and 7-6 in the conference.
