Men's Basketball Dominates Johnson; Set Records

SCRANTON, Pa.- The Centurions Men's Basketball team traveled to Johnson College on Saturday. Unlike their previous meeting which saw Bucks upset by the Jaguars 51-49 this meeting was dominated by the Centurions. Starter Somah Slewion would score 18 points and go 5 for 6 from the foul line. Zach Plenn came off the bench to score 22 points and Jeremiah Alston scored a team high 31 points going 8-12 from the three point line contributing to the win. Alston set a school record with eight 3-pointers made. With Bucks scoring 126 points they tie SW Christian College in Texas for second most points in a single NJCAA game a record set during the 1994-95 season. Final score Bucks 126, Johnson 44. 

Johsnon drops to 2-20 overall, 2-14 in the region and 2-13 in the conference. 

Bucks improves to 6-13 overall, 5-12 in the region and 5-10 in the conference. 

The Centurions will host Lehigh Carbon Community College on Tuesday January 31st at 7:00 pm for Sophomore Night. The Cougars defeated Bucks 58-44 on December 6th.
