NEWTOWN, Pa.- The Men's Basketball team hosted the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College Saturday afternoon. The Centurions were already feeling the pressure of must-win after a loss last week to Montgomery County Community College. Kevin Raymond came out on fire scoring 16 of the Centurions 35 first half points. Bucks would take a 35-24 lead into the half. The second half saw Somah Slewion make a 16 point contribution helping the Centurions take the 68-52 point lead and eventual win. Slewion would finish with 20 total points and 7 rebounds, Raymond would finish with 24 total points. Malik Pitts stood steadfast in the paint providing 10 rebounds. Final score Bucks 68, Harrisburg 52.
The Hawks drop to 6-9 overall & 5-7 in the region and conference.
The Centurions improve to 3-10 overall, 3-9 in the region & 3-8 in the conference.
Bucks will return to action on Tuesday, January 17th when they travel to Community College of Philadelphia for another critical EPAC matchup set to tip-off at 8:00 pm.
