Naylor's Single Propels Bucks past Williamson Trade

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Bucks' three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 7-2 win over Williamson Trade on Monday in the season finale.

The Centurions scored in the first on a two-run single by Michael Naylor and a sacrifice fly by Daulton Brady.

Bucks was led by Luke Hendricks' hitting. Hendricks went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.

Naylor baffled Williamson Trade, striking out seven batters. Naylor allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over seven innings.

One Bucks baserunners came all the way around to score in each of the second, third, fourth, and fifth. In the second, the Centurions scored on an RBI single by Hendricks, scoring Devin McDermott.

Bucks scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fifth. In the fourth, the Centurions scored on an RBI single by Naylor, plating Hendricks.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the seventh, Williamson Trade faced just a 7-2 deficit. But Bucks closed out the game when Naylor got the final batter to fly out to end the game.

Bucks ended the season with a 2-18 overall record, 1-17 in Region XIX and 1-9 in the EPAC.
